New Industrial Logistics Units for Canford Renewable Energy

In 2023, Canford Renewable Energy Ltd engaged Jade-Aden Services to conduct a feasibility and design review for two logistics units at Magna Park, Provence Drive, Poole. This initiative supported a broader strategy to deliver efficient, high-quality industrial buildings that meet specific operational and sustainability objectives.

The project required close coordination across planning, design, and construction. Jade-Aden Services provided technical and commercial oversight to ensure strong environmental performance and long-term operational value.

What did we do?

Our specialists carried out a detailed feasibility assessment and design review of the existing outline planning consent. This work identified opportunities to improve build efficiency and to strengthen the scheme's commercial viability. The resulting value-engineered design changes were submitted as part of a full planning application in spring 2024.

After planning approval, our Design and Build team advanced the project to full construction stage designs. Construction began in May 2024 on two logistics units totalling over 55,000 square feet. The works required close coordination across all elements to maintain programme certainty and deliver a robust industrial solution.

The project was completed in summer 2025. Both buildings achieved BREEAM Very Good certification and A+ Energy Performance Certificates, confirming high standards of energy efficiency and carbon-neutral performance in line with Canford Renewable Energy’s objectives.

The Finished Result

The completed development at Magna Park delivered two high-quality logistics units designed to meet modern operational requirements and support long-term sustainability goals. The buildings offer flexible, efficient industrial space suitable for a range of logistics and distribution uses.

Building on the initial phase, Jade-Aden Services continues to partner with Canford Renewable Energy Ltd at the same site. By 2026, an additional 25,000-square-foot logistics warehouse will be delivered, incorporating battery storage and photovoltaic systems to support resilient, low-carbon operations.
