Composite Wall Cladding

Composite Wall Cladding

Composite panels are factory engineered panels used mainly for exterior cladding, partitioning, and load bearing walls and roofing elements in a wide range of non-residential buildings.

Panels are manufactured on a continuous lamination basis with metal facings - usually steel or aluminium - encapsulating an insulation core.

This composition offers a high degree of stability, rigidity and excellent load-bearing capacity. The thickness of the insulation can range from 40mm to 150 mm depending upon application and required insulation characteristics.

Traditional Seam Walls

This system is an alternative to traditional roofing and designed for pitched roofs and is suitable for use with timber frame buildings.

It comprises of a pan flat sheet which is mechanically seamed, over clips to secure the roof.

It can be applied to roof and walls, while all fixings are hidden so there is a clean and attractive finish.

Built Up Profile Cladding

Built Up Profile Cladding

Profiled roof systems are best suited for roof pitches greater than 5 degrees, generally with a 0.7 mm steel outer roof profile sheet, or a 0.5 mm steel outer wall profile sheet with a 0.4 mm or 0.7 mm steel liner. Aluminium outer sheets are also available.

In between the liner and outer sheet we would install insulation depending on U Values, complete with a steel spacer bar and bracket system. This would then be fixed with integral colour headed screws and tapes as required by the manufacturers recommendations.

Rainscreen Cladding

Rainscreen cladding is a system designed to work to protect the structure of a building from the wind and rain. Correctly specified, a rainscreen cladding system will provide insulating properties whilst controlling water, wind and fire.

The main reason for a rainscreen cladding system is usually down to the visual impact of the building. But the main reason for this type of cladding is for aesthetics combined with performance, weather-proofing the building and contributing to the overall thermal performance.

Brise Soleil

Brise Soleil

Brise Soleil is most effective on facades where it is possible both to reduce the amount of high angle sun in the summer, but also to allow low angle sun in the winter, which can then provide some passive solar heating.

How long does cladding last?

The lifespan of cladding will vary depending on the type of cladding you opt and how well you maintain it.

For the cladding we install, you can expect it to last up to 50 years if well maintained.
