Asbestos has been an ongoing problem since the mid 1980's when it was discovered to be a significant health risk to those breathing in excessive amounts of asbestos fibres.
Due to its harmful nature, it is imperative that you employ a fully trained contractor to survey and remove the suspected matter, as only experienced professionals have been trained to the level required to deal with this substance safely.
Jade-Aden have carried out hundreds of asbestos surveys in the South and can provide you with a detailed report of any asbestos found in your building.
We can remove and dispose of asbestos-cement roof/wall cladding based on the assumption that the corrugated sheets, associated accessories, and any lining sheets/panels are reinforced with ‘white’ chrysotile asbestos fibre.
Should it be subsequently found that the products contain either ‘blue’ crocidolite or ‘brown’ amosite asbestos fibre, more stringent safety precautions will be necessary. In the case of doubt, it is recommended that samples of the material are analysed prior and this is a service we are able to provide.
Our operatives will analyse samples and provide a report of the findings and exactly which type of asbestos is present.
Only then can it be determined how easy the removal of asbestos will be. However, rest assured that we will keep you informed at every stage of the process.
