Our team of commercial cladding and structural steel specialists are proud to have taken part in the construction of a huge selection of buildings across a full range of industries around the UK. Take a look at just a few of our completed projects below.
Tidebank is a client that develops and sells light industrial and commercial units. When they acquired the land at Osprey Quay – the former home of the London 2021 sailing events – they tasked Jade Aden with designing, building, and fitting five workshops with first floor mezzanine space.
These workshops would become the Victoria Park development. Situated on the Isle of Portland, just a stone’s throw from the sea, these five industrial units would need to withstand harsh conditions, while retaining a striking, modern exterior.
Starting completely from scratch, Jade Aden designed and constructed the five industrial units from the ground up. Featuring a brick outer, insulated white micro rib cladding on the exterior, a steel frame, double glazed windows and composite roof cladding, at Victoria Park are built to withstand the harsh weather conditions that Portland is prone to.
With E, B2, and B8 planning use, the buildings needed to be flexible and ergonomic, so we installed 4m high and 3m loading doors, 3 phase electricity, and natural light panels. Responsible for fitting the interior of the units in addition to constructing them, we also fitted a kitchen area, fire alarm and disabled access toilet.
We completed all work to brief with Covid regulations in place. The client was really pleased with the very high specification of the buildings and now has more attractive units to add to their impressive portfolio.
Renovating the exterior of an industrial unit with steel cladding and roof
Jade Aden was recently tasked with replacing the exterior cladding and roof of an industrial unit in the Ebblake Business Park in Verwood. The client – Extreme Assets LLP – wanted to renovate the former distribution facility into a modern office space, with a major part of the project completely replacing the dilapidated sides and roof.
As specialists in steel roofing and cladding, Jade Aden conducted a site visit to assess the building and recommend a solution. We ran the project through from start to finish, including consultancy, planning, and construction. We also ensured that our work was completed on time, to schedule, and to the high standards that we always uphold.
Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Jade Aden worked hard to ensure the roof re-sheeting and exterior cladding was completed in line with the Covid laws and guidelines in place at the time of construction. The client was extremely pleased with the outcome of the renovation, and now has a smart, modern office to rent out.
When the project manager of this new build home project in Bodmin, Cornwall, needed an expert team to install a quality roof as quickly and cost-effectively as possible, they contacted the experienced Jade Aden roofing team.
