The new 160,000 square foot facility will bring together three of Parvalux’s production sites into one.
Jade Aden Services was selected for the project based on their previous working relationships with other large locally based businesses, as well as their ability to bring in the specialist sub-contract supply chain to maintain quality and delivery throughout.
The design and planning stage, which took twelve months to complete, has been finalised and the project officially started in December 2021 with completion due in April 2023.
The state-of-the-art production facility will be carbon neutral incorporating many renewable technologies, including one of the largest photo voltaic arrays to be put onto a single building in the South of England. This system will generate the electricity required to heat and light the whole building.
The overall design will facilitate decades of future expansion for Parvalux within the Cabot Lane location, which ensures their long term commitment to the area.
Grahame Gibson, Managing Director of Jade Aden, is delighted to be working on such a landmark site, “Not only is Parvalux a well-known name locally in Dorset so to work with them is a something we’re all proud of, but the project itself with its many sustainable features is exciting and revolutionary.”
